The collective reading technique was developed in union struggles, then in militant culture, to compensate for the lack of time available for political education. Chapters are torn out of books and shared, then read aloud. Here, the idea is to share a common reading of one or more selected texts.Participants:

Process
Members take turns reading out loud the chapter that they were handed. The reading can be interrupted at any time to ask a question, request clarification or make a comment. Research to answer questions is carried out live during the session.
